Integrity Engineering signs contract to remediate Superfund site

Integrity Engineering signs contract to remediate chlorinated solvent contaminated Superfund site in IL using in-situ co-metabolic bioremediation technology employing a long horizontal air sparge well

West Chester, PA - February 4, 2010 - Integrity Engineering has accepted a contract to design a horizontal well treatment system to remediate a plume of mixed chlorinated and non-chlorinated solvents at an Illinois Superfund site. Having demonstrated decades of success correctly engineering complex in-situ biodegradation systems for other clients, and possessing unsurpassed capabilities to computer model and design all of its treatment systems using FEA CFD technology, Integrity Engineering was selected to design a 1000 foot-long horizontal well treatment system at the 40+ year old site. Effecting concurrent in-situ co-metabolic bioremediation, aerobic bioremediation and air stripping, Integrity Engineering is the only firm in the United States offering the services and tools necessary to correctly design and model the performance of these complex remediation systems. Employing horizontal well technology over traditional vertical well technology to effect treatment ensures that the client's site can remain highly active, allowing unencumbered access to the entirety of the site during the full duration of treatment.
