Don Skomsky, P.E., president of Integrity Engineering, to speak at United States Patent and Trademark Office

West Chester, PA – September 23, 2009 - Don Skomsky, PE, co-inventor of Zoggles™ electronic anti-fog/anti-ice technology and president of Integrity Engineering, has accepted an invitation by the United States Patent and Trademark Office to speak at their 14th Annual Independent Inventors Conference in November 2009. Successfully tested in -30° F 60 MPH wind conditions, Zoggles™ equipped goggles proved to be the only safety eyewear not to fog or frost up in use on Mount Everest. Having over 300 separate applications ranging from eyeglasses to astronaut spacesuits, Zoggles™ is extremely small and energy efficient, and weighs less than ¼ of an ounce. The technology works equally well in hot or cold, wet or dry conditions, even under water. In March 2009, Zoggles™ won NASA’s Create the Future contest in the Safety and Security category. Zoggles™ is protected by 3 U.S. Patents.

In being recognized by the U.S. Patent Office, Mr. Skomsky will be included in the list of accomplished Scientists and Engineers who have presented their work at prior Patent Office conferences. Noted speakers in the past included Dean Kaman, inventor of the portable dialysis machine and the Segway™ personal transport, Robert Rines, inventor of high resolution RADAR, and Dr. Forest Bird, inventor of the artificial respirator.

The USPTO conference is scheduled to be held on November 5-6, 2009.  For more information, please visit the USPTO web site at: http://www.uspto.gov/inventors/independent/aiic_main.jsp.
